Creating a Plan B for Your Career
Disruptive trends in the economy have left thousands feeling abandoned and out of control.
Are you one of them?

A career coach can a valuable resource to help you:

  • Manage your current job more effectively as you plan your next one,
  • Clarify your personal and professional goals and devise strategies to fulfill them,
  • Balance your work and personal life.

Five Weeks to Plan B
is a one-on-one coaching and consulting tutorial to help you find a
Plan B
for your career.  We bring our years of experience in management training and leadership coaching to your service.  You bring your energy and desire for change.

The tutorial begins with a self-evaluation and finishes with an action plan.  There is no one-size-fits-all formula; you shape the important decisions and actions at every stage during the five weeks.  The entire program is conducted on the phone and e-mail.

Each week you would be completing assignments for the next week; we will study what you submit and offer feedback.  Together we will come to crossroads where you will make choices. We will be there at each decision point β€” guiding, consulting, coaching and helping you make decisions that will lead to a
Plan B β€” but you will be making the all the choices.

Here's the five-week lineup:

Week One: Assessment:
What are your preferences, values, skills and personal interests?
Week Two: Satisfaction: How satisfying is your professional life?  What needs to change?
Week Three: Choices: What are the options and opportunities ahead?
Week Four: Action: Can you transform your choice into a commitment to action?
Week Five: Future: Are you ready to draft an action plan? What will keep you motivated?

The cost for the five-week program is $350, a modest down payment on your future.

Coaching on Leadership
President Truman said is best decades ago: Leadership is getting others to do what you want them to ... and like it.  It’s that "and like it" part that's so difficult.

As Baby Boomers retire and Millennials stream into the workplace, a gap in leadership skills is emerging.  We can help your company close that gap and prepare the next generation of leaders.

Among the issues our workshops can address are:
  • Motivating toward higher performance
  • Evaluating for personal development
  • Resolving conflict
  • Sustaining relationships
  • Managing resources
  • Initiating change
  • Generating innovative ideas

"Reflections on Leadership"
"Reflections on Leadership” is a weekly publication e-mailed to nearly 10,000 managers around the world.  Its offers thoughts on issues of leadership, coaching and good writing.

You can receive it directly via e-mail or read the Leadership Blog on this site, where you will also find a growing archive of essays covering important issues.
